Starting out in 2012 by born-and-raised Parisians’ desire to embark on their own journey after having worked together for a decade in the high-end eyewear industry, PETER AND MAY aims to create something that dresses you with elegant modernity and confidence in your everyday style. In French, this is known as Allure.

Today, the duo is teaming up with Parisian fashion designers - JACQUEMUS, ÉTUDES - to launch their very first eyewear collections and be their partner for production and distribution.

The best materials : the Mazzuchelli acetate, the titanium of unmatched value, the protective lens polymers of the highest technical standards. Our sun lenses come with an anti-reflection treatment.

Oven-drying acetates : This resting time allows our craftsmen to regulate the hygrometry at the heart of the plate from which each frame is produced. This phase also allows us to create healthier materials, staying aware of skincare.

Compressing each and every plate : By subjecting each plate to high pressure before the shaping process, we extend durability by increasing the density of the material.

Ensuring optimal comfort with every wear and seeking for the right proportions : The next step is to utilize numerical controls for precision cutting purposes, sculpting with attention-to-detail down to the contact zones.

3D laser welding : All PETER AND MAY titanium frames are assembled using this technique, bringing all the pieces together without leaving any gaps.

Our hinge design : Each pivot is supported by quality rivets, along with 5 x knuckles for a durable end-product.

LT LINE : Made of thin acetates with rounded edges using the same before-cutting process. We chose the best quality hinges : OBE’s ISS technology enhances a smooth mouvement and anti-loosening effect. Semi-flat mineral glass lenses with inside AR coating. Available colors of polarized sun lenses.
